I took a test in my A+ repair class the other day and got a 100 on it. Curious to look at the coding as I love web design and know a good amount, I peeked at the source code. After much much frustration I decided to ask some people how this works. I can see the answers are set with the variables near the beginning, problem is it doesn't really match the answers that are correct. So I am amazingly curious as to how it works. The answers are:

Photoshop Warp tool "program error"

I have a new MacBook Pro with 10.6.2 Snow Leopard. I also have Photoshop & the Adobe Creative suite 4. Here's my problem:

I am unable to use the warp tool on any type in Photoshop. I select my type, and the warp dialog comes up, but when I select the type of warp and hit return, It's been giving me "Could not complete your request because of a program error." I've reinstalled Photoshop, run disk first aid, deleted preferences for Photoshop, and run the fsck -fy code at the local host prompt. Any other ideas to get this to work?
I'm desparate, as I use this tool for comping all the time.

selection text problem

Hello!
Before starting I want to apologize for my English, i'm from Spain, but in spanish forums do not know as much as.
I'm creating a Rich Text Editor and I need know when the text selected are within a determinate tag.
I have a problem with getSelection() method because when i select the text not get forever the same. For example:

Well, when i select "RL" letters, getSelection().anchorNode.parentNode should return the node with style="color: blue" long as they select from left to right. The problem is that getSelection().anchorNode.parentNode does not always return the node with style="color:blue". Why? I know, if i put the pointer between O and R, and then write the new letters will color red if previous...

i have a page named [COLOR="Red"]pck_rates.php[/COLOR] which contains a form that go to the page[COLOR="DarkRed"] update_pck_rates.php[/COLOR]

when i press updade data button in the second page i want the first page to be refreshed to show the new data's.

i want to know if i can set a name to the page [COLOR="Red"] pck_rates.php[/COLOR] and after the update query in the second page i will refresh the [COLOR="Red"]pck_rates.php[/COLOR] page using this name??

i don't know what is the function and how to make this idea.
can anyone help me please

Hey, new here and ive got a question
When i opened my photoshop CS4 today and i was trying some things and whenever i did things with my brushes, with any colour i tried you can barely see them , before i didnt have a problem at all and now i can barely see the colours whenever i place them on a layer. Like all the colours got darker somehow and now i cant work with photoshop.

Anyone know why?

select the upper lip area where you want edited then select inverse> feather about 4/5 pixs depends on the size you select really. then inverse again try smudging at about 75% try that

i can see a few ways of doing it but there all to much to start typing is here the quickest way that you can do is take that foot of that pic and add it to another pregnant ladys belly thats cheating but easy to type on here lol

Ya its getting there and you have done a great job, the gallery is my favorite feature i think it adds a alot to the site and its very user friendly i cant wait until its all finished and its things like this that make this the best developers community on the net

Thanks Raven, but I still have lots of things to do in the Gallery, it's working pretty good with FireFox, but IE still messes it up in several ways. And I haven't tried it with other browsers yet. But getting there...

Agreed.

The technique used here was just to copy an area of the lower lip, rotate it and paste it higher up.

Isn't there a better way? Liquify sort of works but it's very tricky...

i meant nothing bad about it and i did tell you why i felt they looked that way, they look dusty and the second one is to fast ,then i went on to say but good job none the less. i post my work on sites like this so i can get honest feed back sometimes i dont like the feedback but i take it on board and it helps me improve. if someone said my work looked amateurish and explained why, i would take that as constructive critique and improve them. if you look at some of the comments i got when i first joined here you will notice what i mean.

so please dont take offence at my comments because if i didnt like you or your work i would not post to your threads, if your gonna partake on forum chat your not gonna like everything thats said to you so you take it on the chin and take what you need and ignore the rest.

anyhow i think your a great designer so thats the last i will say on the matter

I appreciate your reply.

My point is, that I also would like you and others to comment on my work, the thing that I dislike is any one using condescending terminology, on my work or any one else's, as there is no need for it.

If I do not like something, I will either say nothing or, I would tell them why I do not like it, and how I would go about improving it, I would not rubbish it. I believe using such words as amateurish, is totally unacceptable.

I hope that clears our discrepancy up, and that we can move on from here.
